Hello there, it's nice to meet you.

Hi there! I’m Kayla, a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania specializing in graphic and packaging design. I have been working professionally in packaging design for about 5 years now. I have always had a passion for what I do and I am very dedicated to my work, developing unique concepts, solving any design and communication problems and accomplishing any task put before me.

I have won several awards such as the Kutztown University Senior Graphic Design Award and have been recognized for my work by the Adobe Awards and the Society of Publication Designers. I have also won awards from GDUSA in packaging design for William Fox Munroe where I am currently employed.

In my college years I graduated summa cum laude and enjoy being studious and learning new things. I hope to work with those that will allow my skills and creativity to flourish and will expose me to new ideas and experiences.

I'm also a mom to two fluffy chinchillas and a lover of plants, nature, and animals. In my free time you can probably find me embroidering on my front porch or at the Fridge in Lancaster updating my Untappd app.

Embroidery is a new medium that I have taught myself and have been exploring through my alternate studio, Among the Wildflowers. Here I create a variety of embroidered pieces from framed embroidered art to up-cycled clothes, accessories, and special requests.

I get a great sense of fulfillment and satisfaction from learning new things and strive to do any task to the best of my ability. I am also a great advocate of having fun and loving what you do. Please feel free to reach out to me—I would love to hear from you and discuss how my skills would be an asset to helping you create great design.
